For the second year in a row, Shoestring Press is bringing a Live Printing Workshop to Art on Paper. Throughout the fair at the Shoestring Press Workshop, there will be daily activations including live printing, demonstrations, and hands on workshops of various printmaking methods including linocut and silkscreen printing.

Thursday, September 5

6–8pm: Live silkscreen printing by Lane Sell of his series “Body Virus”

Friday, September 6

12–2pm & 4–6pm: Linocut workshop. Materials and assistance provided for attendees to print 3×4″ linocuts from a selection of images. Participation is free.

Saturday, September 7

12–2pm: Live silkscreen printing by artist Lillian Young of her print “Sister Rosetta”

3–6pm: Live tote bag printing. Materials and assistance provided for attendees. Participation is free.

Sunday, September 8

12–3pm: “Kitchen Lithography” printing with artist Em Miller
