For the third year in a row, Shoestring Press is bringing a Live Printing Workshop to Art on Paper. Throughout the fair at the Shoestring Press Workshop, there will be daily activations including live printing, demonstrations, and hands on workshops of various printmaking methods including linocut and silkscreen printing.

This year’s programming highlights include a linocut workshop open to fair attendees, and live printing by Master Printmaker, Lane Sell and artists, Jenny Liu and Em Miller.

Thursday, September 4

6PM-8PM
Print an original silkscreen postcard with Lane Sell on his wearable silkscreen printing press. Lane will be circulating throughout the fair on opening night.

Friday, September 5

12PM-2PM
Linocut workshop. Materials and assistance provided for attendees to print 3×4″ linocuts from a selection of images. Participation is free.

Saturday, September 6

Artist Jenny Liu completes a reduction print from her series “Journey to the West.”

Live tote bag printing – free for attendees!
