Ana Inciardi Mini Print Vending Machine
Art on Paper is excited to showcase printmaker, Ana Inciardi’s, beloved Mini Print Vending Machine at the fair. For four quarters, collectors will have the opportunity to acquire a mystery linocut print. Inciardi developed the mini print vending machine in 2020 during a quarter shortage to help her collect money for the laundromat. The project was inspired by the Art-o-mat concept and by the nostalgic sticker vending machines that spilled out on Brooklyn’s sidewalks.
Ana is a relief printmaker and the creator of the Mini Print Vending Machine. She’s from Brooklyn, New York, and is based in Portland, Maine. Food has always inspired her art as it connects her to the people she loves most: her friends, her Italian American family, and her wife, Addison, an organic vegetable farmer. Accessibility was her goal when developing the Mini Print Vending Machines, which price each mini print at one dollar. Now, her machines can be found all across the country, with more being added each week. Brands Ana has partnered with include: HBO, The Whitney Museum, Books Are Magic, Rachel Antonoff, The Boston ICA—the list goes on. She feels very fortunate to have built a career and life around the celebration of food, eating, accessibility, and community.
